Job Summary

A software development firm is seeking a Remote Bioinformatics and Computational Scientist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Executing computational analysis of biomarker data
• Running analysis for targeted sequencing, exome-seq, mRNA-seq data
• Assisting in writing/reviewing SOPs, posters, presentations, internal/external documents

Qualifications Include:

• PhD in a scientific discipline with at least 8 years of related experience
• Familiarity with human genomics, standard genomic databases, formats, and tools
• Excellent data analysis and visualization skills in R
• Immuno-Oncology therapeutic area experience
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative to solve problems and seek solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot critical issues associated with data analysis and interpretation
