A staffing and recruitment agency has an open position for a Remote Bioinformatics Associate.
Must be able to:
- Perform identification and fine-mapping of cis- and trans-pQTLs
- Prototype and implement statistical methods and pipelines
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience programming in UNIX, bash/other scripting languages & R/python
- PhD in Computational Biology, Human Genetics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Detailed understanding of human genetics and/or genomics, and experience handling and analyzing genome-scale data
- Experience working with high performance computing and be able to produce high-quality output with minimal supervision
