Job Summary

A testing laboratories company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Bioinformatics Scientist in Lees Summit.

Must be able to:

  • Provide bioinformatics support for R&D projects
  • Ensure that R&D projects are progressing
  • Write verification/validation reports and SOPs

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or Computer Science required
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience OR PhD in lieu of experience
  • Understanding of frequentist statistics, statistical analysis of laboratory validation data
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C and C++
  • Substantial technical writing skills
  • Demonstrated proven experience in managing complex project
