Job Summary

A leading precision oncology company is in need of a Remote Bioinformatics Staff Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with users and product managers to gather and refine requirements
  • Create and translate UI / UX wireframes into visual elements
  • Maintain and extend the applications RESTful web service

Qualifications Include:

  • M.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years experience developing software in production environment
  • Expert understanding of Python, React, JavaScript
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge using object-oriented programming
  • Working knowledge of managing and deploying Docker
  • Experience working with a relational database, preferably PostgreSQL
