Job Summary
A nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and a better quality of life is in need of a Remote Biostatistician III.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform advanced statistical programming and data analysis support to Scientists
- Support for the drafting of manuscripts/grant applications
- Coordinate and provision methodological training for Scientists and Biostatistician
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Post-Baccalaureate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics and Doctorate; or Epidemiology or equivalent with specialized training in multivariate statistics and familiarity with social science survey research
- Over 10 years experience in Biostatistical, Epidemiology, Alcohol Studies, Social Science, or Economic fields with extensive application of such methods to the analysis of survey research data
- Publication of 5-10 first/sole-authored research articles (including using or developing Statistical, Epidemiologic, Psychometric, etc. methods) in peer-reviewed journals
- Publication of 10-20 co-authored publications involving analytic contributions
- Ability to collaborate in the supervision of 3-5 Biostatistical/Research Associate personnel
- Familiarity with standard and advanced statistical methodology and its appropriate application to survey data.
