Job Summary

A biotechnology and genomic data research company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Biotechnology and Genomic Data Research Sales Vice President.

Must be able to:

  • Own the bookings target for the company, and build the team and budget needed to hit the target
  • Develop and structure partnerships that advance commercial adoption of our platform
  • Participate in analysis of market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience hiring and managing a sales team at B2B software or software-enabled service businesses
  • Experience selling to pharmaceutical and/or biotech companies
  • Experience working as part of an early-stage, venture-backed startup
  • Familiar with the key companies and technologies used in genomics
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and other tools for forecasting sales performance
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
