Job Summary

A book publishing company is filling a position for a Remote Book Cover Designer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Contributing to brainstorming sessions as needed
  • Creating visually appealing design concepts
  • Following and/or evolving brand style guidelines

Qualifications Include:

  • 2 years' experience creating book cover designs
  • Experience designing book interior pages
  • Experience designing for various formats,including hard cover, soft cover and ebooks
  • Understanding of print production and pre-press artwork
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Understanding of book design processes and production schedules
