Job Summary

An agriculture and food manufacturing cooperative is in need of a Remote Breeding Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and communicating unified breeding strategy across broad geographies
• Organizing strategies across diverse disciplines to innovate and achieve company goals
• Assessing and implementing new technologies to innovate, gain efficiencies in routine operations

Qualifications Include:

• 10+ years of industry experience including leading breeding program
• PhD in Plant Breeding
• Knowledge in latest plant breeding methodologies of development and commercialization
• Experience developing advanced tools for breeding such imaging technology, and marker assisted selections
• Previous experience with genetically modified crops and gene editing
• Robust understanding of research methods and strategies, with specialized knowledge in crop breeding and innovation
