Job Summary
A privately-held business services company is seeking a Remote Broadcast Systems Engineer in San Jose.
Must be able to:
- Deploy and maintain production platforms in a hybrid environment of Windows/Mac/Linux operating systems
- Create and maintain tools, documentation, and reporting systems for production platforms
- Maintain backup processes for platforms, applications and data
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT support, ideally in fast-paced automated video production environment
- 5+ years experience supporting Microsoft Windows, MacOS & Linux-based video/audio, automation & asset management systems
- 5+ years experience supporting network and fabric infrastructure for heterogeneous NAS & SAN-based storage platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the ability to reprioritize deliverables in a dynamic environment
- Experience deploying and administering virtual platforms, VMWare and alike
