Job Summary
A pharmaceutical services company has a current position open for a Remote Budget Associate .
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Preparing post-award quotations for protocols, bid requests, study revisions, and additions using the company’s pricing tools
- Completing budget to actual reconciliations at predetermined time points over the course of awarded studies
- Coordinating and facilitating updated quotes to ensure smooth and timely business process flow by working with appropriate staff and partner laboratories
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, business, or marketing-related discipline
- 2 years customer service or related experience
- Experience in a laboratory, contract research, and/or research setting
- Ability to perform calculations and manage budgets
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to budget management for clinical trials
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or clinical research protocols
