Remote Building Controls Technician
Job Summary
Providing fully remote support for building automation and operational technology environments, the full-time Senior Remote Building Controls Technician will manage programming, system configuration, and troubleshooting while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform remote programming, configuration, testing, and tuning of DDC building automation and control systems
- Provide remote building control support for HVAC equipment and smart building platforms, including troubleshooting and user management
- Document service requests and operational performance, ensuring timely responses and resolutions to customer needs
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in building automation, DDC controls, and BAS programming
- Niagara N4 certification or equivalent experience with Niagara-based building automation platforms
- Experience with remote access tools and BAS supervisory platforms
- Strong knowledge of DDC control theory and communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
- Ability to support user account administration and secure remote access processes
