Job Summary
A provider of specialty property and casualty insurance needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Business Analyst.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purposes of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improvement
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in property and casualty insurance
- Experience and skill in project management
- Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
- Experience with core software applications, including MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Excel and Visio
- Mastery of multiple insurance applications for underwriting, claims, policy administration
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
