Job Summary
A travel company has a current position open for a Remote Business Development Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing prospect list of qualified leads and performing preliminary research to identify clients' need and goals
- Developing creative and cost effective plans to meet clients' objectives
- Making sales presentations, preparing proposals in conjunction with other members of the sales
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel 10-25% - if in the DMV area
- Sales and marketing experience, preferably in the travel, meetings and incentives, or technology industries
- Experience with sales related to Federal Goverment travel programs (required)
- Strong negotiation skills (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required)
