Job Summary
A financial services and insurance agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Business Intelligence Analyst II in San Antonio.
Must be able to:
- Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Apply data visualization best practices to identify and interpret trends or patterns while following standard Enterprise branding
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or other business-relevant discipline
- 4 additional years of relevant data and analytics or technical experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree in addition to the minimum years of work experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in data/analytics or directly related functional operations experience (i.e. P&C, Bank, Finance, etc) OR Advanced degree in STEM relevant discipline
- Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms, data management platforms, or SQL-based languages (Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, Hadoop, Netezza, NoSQL, ANSI SQL, or related)
- Ability to build business knowledge through meaningful partnerships at the individual contributor and leadership levels
- Ability to understand the value of prototyping, usability, and the end-user experience to maximize the impact of the final data visualization product (dashboard, report, insight, or analysis)
