Job Summary
A cloud computing services company is filling a position for a Remote Business Intelligence Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Gathering requirements and developing new datasets
- Optimizing the performance of business-critical queries
- Tuning application and query performance using Unix profiling tools
Position Requirements Include:
- 3+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/BI space
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar
- Experience with SQL
- Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative/technical field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in Data or database engineering, or business intelligence or analytics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized queries
