Job Summary

An insurance provider is in need of a Remote Business Intelligence Underwriting Standards Assistant Vice President.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Driving and communicating sound control strategies and underwriting standards through the organization
• Ensuring that underwriting controls result in overall profitability, growth and retention of business
• Leading a team and oversee the management, development, and execution of the underwriting controls

Qualifications Include:

• 2+ years of leadership and management of others
• 8 years of compliance, underwriting, claim, product or relevant underwriting quality assurance experience required
• Knowledge of underwriting processes and practices
• Advanced organizational, analytical skills, critical thinking, interpersonal, and time management
• Demonstrated performance management experience and skills including setting clear goals and priorities
• Prior leadership experience either by leading audit teams or directly managing others required
