Remote Business Service Accounting Specialist
Job Summary
A business services company is in need of a Remote Business Service Accounting Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Research, track, and resolve accounting and/or documentation discrepancies
- Participate in monthly and fiscal-quarter closings
Qualifications Include:
- 1+ years of experience working for a Government Contractor / experience with Government Contracting
- 1+ years of experience working in a similar accounting role
- Familiarity with The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Advanced experience with MS Office Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, xlookups, Sumsif, etc.)
- Ability to prepare general ledger journal entries
- Ability to analyze revenue recognition and expense variances
