Job Summary
A therapy staffing company has a current position open for a Remote California Certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, using various instructional methods and resource
- Assessing students' educational needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on their specific requirements
- Creating and implementing engaging and inclusive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Master s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf Education or Special Education, as required by the applicable state or jurisdiction
- Minimum 2 years experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Proficiency in using educational technology platforms, video conferencing tools, and online teaching resources
