Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote California License Behavioral Health Care Manager II.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Support day to day call center clinical functions by taking live calls and making callbacks to members
Use appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment
Outreach to providers as necessary for Utilization Management functions

Position Requirements Include:

MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
3 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment
Current active unrestricted licenseto practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in California
Experience in case management/utilization management with a range of experience with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases
Prior managed care experience
