Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote California License Behavioral Health Care Manager II.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Support day to day call center clinical functions by taking live calls and making callbacks to members
• Use appropriate screening criteria  knowledge and clinical judgment
• Outreach to providers as necessary for Utilization Management functions

Position Requirements Include:

• MA/MS in social work  counseling  or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
• 3 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment
• Current active unrestricted licenseto practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in California
• Experience in case management/utilization management with a range of experience with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases
• Prior managed care experience
