Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote California License Behavioral Health Care Manager II.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Support day to day call center clinical functions by taking live calls and making callbacks to members
- Use appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment
- Outreach to providers as necessary for Utilization Management functions
Position Requirements Include:
- MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
- 3 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment
- Current active unrestricted licenseto practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in California
- Experience in case management/utilization management with a range of experience with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases
- Prior managed care experience
