Job Summary

A health technology company is filling a position for a Remote California Licensed Health Service Nurse 2.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing designated physician requests for referral authorization
  • Gathering all information needed to make a medical determination
  • Working with appropriate to ensure supporting contracts are in place

Position Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma or Associates degree
  • Must have current unrestricted California licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a managed care setting and/or recent clinical experience
  • Experience and understanding of the confidentiality of medical records
  • A thorough understanding of the managed care environment
  • Ability to handle difficult people/situations
