A remote therapy and education company has an open position for a Remote California Licensed Visually Impaired Teacher.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing the student’s needs and teach specific skills
- Responding to parent questions through a variety of online means. Using video conference technology
- Observing classroom environments and provide feedback and strategies to teachers
Qualifications for this position include:
- California State Teaching Certification in Visually Impaired
- Masters level degree (Education for the Visually Impaired Students)
- Experience teaching students who are blind, going blind, have limited sight, or have another visual impairment
- Ability to assess the student’s needs and teach specific skills
- Ability to respond to parent questions through a variety of online means. Using video conference technology
- Ability to observe classroom environments and provide feedback and strategies to teachers
