Job Summary

A nonpartisan not-for-profit organization has a current position open for a Remote Campaign Strategist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and implementing creative communications and branding strategies
• Highlighting wins and demonstrating the progress of our movement
• Elevating the issue of cannabis-related criminal justice reform

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 4 years in media, strategic communications, digital communications, campaigns, and/or public relations
• Ability to communicate persuasively and clearly in writing and verbally to a wide variety of media
• Experience with social media, email, and other digital advocacy tactics
• Experience drafting social media messages and promoting issues through social media
• Strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and possess the ability to follow projects to completion
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and compassionately
