Job Summary

A pharmaceutical and biotech company has a current position open for a Remote Cancer Genomics Bioinformatician Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Read, understand, and teach others about selected external data sources
  • Install, configure, and provide general administrative support for the database solution
  • Implement custom data solutions

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience analyzing human genetic and oncology NGS datasets
  • At least intermediate-level Python skills
  • Version control with git skills
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics methods of human population genetics and cancer genomics
  • Knowledge of at least one testing suit
