Job Summary

A healthcare outsourcing solutions provider is filling a position for a Remote Cancer Registrar.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Administrators and physicians
  • Meet the quality target of 90% or better
  • Meet the productivity goal of 1 abstract in 1 hour and 30 minutes

Position Requirements Include:

  • Experienced in CoC accreditation and surveys
  • Experienced in taking cancer committee minutes, monitoring standards
  • Experienced in working in a multi-facilty setting
  • Experienced in abstracting using CoC guidelines
  • Experienced in guiding a CTR team and managing workflow
  • Current with use of all abstracting/coding resources
