Job Summary
A nonprofit healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cancer Registry Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Coordinating physician requests and interdepartmental requirements for weekly Cancer Conference case presentation
- Abstracting and coding all reportable cancer cases ensuring accurate and uniform maintenance of cancer data
- Performing ongoing identification of all reportable cases
Qualifications for this position include:
- A minimum of 2 years of cancer registry abstracting experience is required
- Certified Tumor Registrar by National Cancer Registrars Association is required
- Associate s degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of oncology, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and various medical specialties
