Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Cancer Registry Certified Data Abstractor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Completing case-finding for assigned facilities
- Performing timely abstraction of assigned cases to ensure compliance with ACOS standards
- Completing edit checks and making appropriate changes on a timely basis
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge of disease index and pathology reports
- Computer skills, including data input, Meditech and other required software
- High school degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of Cancer Data Abstraction or Medical Records experience
- Certified Tumor Registrar designation
