Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Cancer Registry Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with epidemiological, behavioral, or medical research by abstracting cancer data for analysis by the local and state level
- Coding all reportable malignant and non-malignant diseases for facilities utilizing the appropriate coding manuals and guidelines
- Performing case finding on an as needed basis
Required Skills:
- Certified Tumor Registrar Certification
- 1-2 years previous experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
