Job Summary
A healthcare provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cancer Registry Specialist in Nashville.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform case finding on an as needed basis
- Code all reportable malignant and non-malignant diseases
- Perform follow-up function to assure registry maintains at a minimum at 90% follow-up rate
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associates degree in allied health field or 60 college hours
- Certified Tumor Registrar Certification preferred or must get within 3 years
- Two years' experience in cancer registry or healthcare preferred
