Job Summary

An insurance distribution and services company is filling a position for a Remote Cannabis MGA Insurance Underwriter.

Must be able to:

  • Issue endorsements, policy changes, and account renewals
  • Conduct negotiations with assigned agents
  • Assess clients' current insurance placements for strengths and deficiencies

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience required
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Underwriting experience
  • 3 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in a Commercial Lines Underwriting role
  • Strong math and analytical skill with an emphasis on problem-solving
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
