Job Summary

A social media conversation company has an open position for a Remote Capacity Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building the foundational services for capacity automation at Twitter
  • Collaborating with service teams, supply, finance, platform and data center operations to dive deep into the current state
  • Driving design decisions and help shape the roadmap for the team

Qualifications Include:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience working at a Sr. Software Engineer capacity working in large distributed systems
  • 2+ years at a Staff Software Engineer level
  • Previous experience guiding and mentoring teams
  • Recent experience spearheading design solutions for critical businesses needs
  • Strong backend development experience with a solid foundation in data pipelines, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing
  • Proficiency with Scala, Java, or C/C++ required
