Job Summary

A consulting firm is filling a position for a Remote Capital Region Community Support Specialist Lead.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and providing support to the specialized Community Support staff for the Contact Tracing Initiative in your area
  • Ensuring that the Specialists in each county are supported, staffed, engaged and effective
  • Working with LHDs, community organizations, support agencies to address housing, food, mental health, testing, medical needs and other needs to make appropriate care plans for people with COVID-19 and their contacts

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Current NYS residency
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent professional qualifications
  • At least five years of experience with the supervision of staff within a health, human service, or community-based organization, or institutional setting
  • Demonstrated strong relationships and experience working in a health system in NYS
  • Experience leading tracking and reporting processes
  • Ability to act as a senior liaison and partner to relevant associations and local health authorities in the Region
