Job Summary

A food and agriculture consulting company is in need of a Remote Carbon Platform Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building well-documented and maintainable critical features within existing API
  • Designing reliable and high-quality backend systems in the cloud
  • Communicating risks and issues to stakeholders and working together to find a path forward

Qualifications for this position include:

  • You’ve been building software professionally for 2+ years
  • You have experience in one or more modern programming languages
  • You have experience working with a cloud provider, such as AWS or GCP
  • You bring a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and self awareness
  • You're comfortable collaborating across teams to discuss technical and usability trade-offs
