Job Summary
A provider of outsourced medical coding services is in need of a Remote Cardiology Charge Analysts.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Accurately and timely posting of Cath Lab and EP Lab charges
- Providing compliant charging practices for all payors by reviewing the medical record for appropriate clinical documentation
- Interacting with clinical staff to educate and improve clinical documentation that supports the care provided and charges posted
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associate's degree in a health-related or business field -OR- graduation from HIT/HIA program / nearing HIT/HIA program completion
- Current coding certification - CCS and/or CPC is required
- Minimum of 3 years of cardiovascular invasive or interventional radiology coding experience
- Must be experienced in using 7XXX and 9XXX range COPT procedures
