Job Summary
A global group of pharmaceutical companies is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cardiometabolic Principal Scientist or Senior Principal Scientist.
Must be able to:
- Design, propose and implement research strategies to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets
- Leverage internal resources and external partners to enable timely decision making
- Develop fit for purpose biochemical and cellular assays to support effective drug discovery projects
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- One to three years project leadership experience
- PhD degree or equivalent with three years post-doctoral experience/ five plus (5+) years' experience in a relevant field
- Requires a strong working knowledge of cardiometabolic-related diseases in vitro and/or ex vivo systems
- Knowledge of cardiometabolic drug discovery space
- Excellent people skills
