Job Summary
An independent medical oncology and hematology practice is filling a position for a Remote Care Management New Patient Specialist in Fort Myers.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review reports and patient charts in OncoEMR to identify all new patients at various office locations
- Follow specific guidelines laid out by individual offices/SOP’s
- Communicate with other departments as necessary to obtain patient information
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous Experience: One (1) year of experience in the healthcare field or clinic setting with knowledge of oncology preferred
- Office experience to include: procedure entry with experience in insurance and medical terminology preferred
- Core Capabilities: Attention to detail, excellent math skills, excellent deduction skills and the ability to work independently
- Core Capabilities: good communication skills, data entry and knowledge of Excel
