Job Summary
A healthcare insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Case Underwriting Assistant Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Making commercial underwriting decisions
- Assessing risk applications accurately and consistently within agreed service levels
- Obtaining appropriate medical information to ensure accurate assessment of a risk
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Attending industry seminars, courses and workshops
- Degree holder with a minimum 5 years' medical underwriting experience
- Strong business sense and flexible in underwriting
- Excellent communication/interpersonal/telephone skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
