Job Summary
A software development firm is in need of a Remote Cassandra and Mysql Senior Database Administrator.
Must be able to:
- Administer, tune, and care and feedi our cassandra and mysql/galera clusters
- Work with developers, debug, and help them tune their queries is a highly valued facet of the DBA role
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum 7+ years of DBA or database management experience
- Minimum 3+ years of MYSQL and Cassandra experience on Linux/UNIX environment
- Demonstrated experience in architecting a large-scale production database platforms
- 24x7 production on-call support handling emergencies
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
- Expertise with Cassandra systems metrics and systems optimization strategies
