Remote CDM Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare revenue cycle operations, the fully remote contract Revenue Analyst will manage the Charge Description Master (CDM), ensure accurate billing and compliance, and collaborate with various departments to improve charge capture processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Charge Description Master (CDM) for accurate billing and regulatory compliance
• Analyze revenue data, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular CDM audits for process improvement
• Collaborate with providers and operational departments regarding billing practices and provide education on coding compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle, or CDM maintenance required
• Coding certification required (CPC, CCS, or equivalent)
• Experience with EPIC and Craneware required
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding, revenue codes, and billing systems
