Job Summary
A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Center for Apprenticeship and Work Based Learning Associate Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing daily management of programmatic operations for complex, national, multi-year initiatives, including the development of work plans, timelines, reporting and input from external partners, and completing high-quality project deliverables
- Providing technical assistance on apprenticeship, Registered Apprenticeship, and work-based learning to stakeholders in the field, including facilitating program design and registration
- Stewarding a practice that conveys a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and historically underrepresented populations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in the registered apprenticeship system or providing technical assistance on Registered Apprenticeship or work-based learning to employers, community colleges or other stakeholders, such as assisting employers in registering apprenticeship programs
- Experience in the registered apprenticeship system or providing technical assistance on Registered Apprenticeship or work-based learning to employers, community colleges or other stakeholders, such as assisting employers in registering apprenticeship programs
- 7 years of workforce development experience, including 3-5 in apprenticeship, Registered Apprenticeship, or work-based learning
- Strong project management skills and are able to balance details and timelines with larger strategic priorities
- Excellent at working both in teams and independently. You are able to manage others to complete high-quality and timely project work
