Remote Certified Actuary FSA/ASA

Job Summary

To lead the development and underwriting of new product financial models, the full-time Remote Certified Actuary FSA/ASA will collaborate with various departments to enhance existing models, analyze cost trends, and prepare recommendations for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document underwriting procedures and analytical approaches for new products and enhancements
• Review utilization and cost trends to ensure accurate pricing model assumptions
• Analyze claims data and complete financial requirements for RFPs and renewals to support sales and marketing efforts

Required qualifications

• ASA or FSA certification required
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Experience in underwriting within a managed care environment
• Actuarial pricing experience required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience managing large data sets
