Job Summary

An online education organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Certified California Special Education Substitute Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Communicate with parents, students and other teachers to develop individualized learning plans
  • Work with general education teachers to ensure that IEP goals and accommodations are met
  • Support students and parents with alternate instructional strategies

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Highly qualified and certified as a special educator in California
  • Ability to write and monitor IEP plans
  • Be willing to learn to do so using a variety of software
  • Proven commitment to student achievemen
  • Excellent attention to detail, and strong time management and organizational skills
