Job Summary
A healthcare documentation provider has an open position for a Remote Certified Cancer Registrar.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying cancer cases by referencing primary and secondary sources of information
- Coding topography, morphology and other information relevant to registered tumor patients
- Entering cancer registry information into the database according to established procedures
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- CTR certified
- Two or more years' experience performing cancer registry
- Ability to interpret cancer registry guidelines
- Familiarity with MS Excel
- All other requirements necessary for this position
