Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Certified Cancer Tumor Registry Data Abstractor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform timely abstraction of assigned cases and/or medical records
• Complete case-finding for assigned facilities, including review of pathology reports
• Complete edit checks and makes appropriate changes on a timely basis

Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma and/or GED
• 3+ years of Cancer Data Abstraction or Medical Records experience
• Knowledge of disease index and pathology reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; including Meditech or similar databases
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) designation required
