Job Summary
A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Certified Coder in Cleveland.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Identify, collect, assess, monitor and document claims
- Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
- Review medical record information to identify all appropriate coding
Position Requirements Include:
- AAPC or AHIMA certified for at least 3 years
- 2+ years of working as a certified medical coder
- Coding certification through AHIMA/ AAPC
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
- Excellent written verbal and communication skills
- Technically savvy
