Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Certified Coder in Cleveland.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding based on CMS categories
- Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
- Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of working as a certified medical coder
- Candidate must be AAPC or AHIMA certified for at least 3 years
- Coding certification through AHIMA/ AAPC is required
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
- Technically savvy
