Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Certified Coder in Johnstown.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Working with departments to provide coding rationale with billing edits/rejects and audit findings
• Maintaining knowledge and provides to BSC and ancillary departments updates
• Developing and directing coding education and assistance with all departments

Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CCS certification
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• 3 years coding experience in a multi hospital environment
• Experience in working DRG coding denials and writing appeal letters to payors
• Experience preserving coding integrity
