A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Certified Inpatient and Outpatient Remote Medical Coder in Dallas.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Identify and communicate errors and opportunities for documentation improvement
• Validate and abstract CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes
• Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS upon review of the medical record documentation

Position Requirements Include:

• Coding Certification: CCS, CCA, CCS-P, CPC-A, CPC-H-A, CPC-H or CPC or RHIT/RHIA
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
• Medical terminology knowledge
