Job Summary
An integrated health system has a current positionopenfor a Remote Certified Inpatient Coder.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Accurate and timely coding of hospital inpatient, hospital outpatient and/or professional fee encounters
- Understanding and applying all regulatory coding guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Registered Health Information Certification or Licensure
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPC coding rules and guidelines
- Knowledge of medical science, anatomy and physiology
