Job Summary

A nonprofit network of hospitals, clinics, and home care services is in need of a Remote Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in Humboldt.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide telephonic assessment of patient needs, provide triage recommendations to patients, relaying calls and information to clinic providers
  • Demonstrate competence in the clinical skills necessary to carry out assigned job duties
  • Schedule referrals for patients with specialist or outpatient as requested by the provider

Qualifications Include:

  • For CME: Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • For CME: Current CME certification for Certified Medical Assistant and AAMA or NCCT certification
  • For LPN: Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • For LPN: Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa/Illinois for Licensed Practical Nurse.
