A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Certified Medical Coder Appeals Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing medical records
- Coding patients encounters
- Processing in a timely manner
Position Requirements Include:
- Coding Certification which can include any of the following credentials: CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT
- Prior experience coding with ICD-10-CM, CPT & HCPCS
- Must have functional knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical records, and correct coding conventions
